Guaranteed to be a highlight of this year’s festival, we’re thrilled to welcome Gubsmacked, Scotland’s funniest poetry night, to Paisley Book Festival for a special one-off event. Flyte Nyte reimagines the courtly medieval Scottish tradition of Flyting: a poetry rap battle in all but name. Presented by three iconic Scottish poets – Leyla Josephine, Iona Lee and Colin Bramwell – with some of the country’s hottest poetic talent throwing serious shade. Join Taylor Dyson, Molly Maclachlan, Kevin Gilday, Nasim Rebecca Asl, Medha Singh and David Ross Linklater for a no-holds-barred poetry punch-up.
