The 2022 Festival took place between 17 – 26 February and the theme “Stories Mak Us” was in response to Scotland’s Year of Stories. It offered a blended programme of live and digital events that featured appearances from Louise Welsh, James Robertson, Jenni Fagan, C.J. Cooke, Graeme Macrae Burnet, Scotland’s Makar Kathleen Jamie and Nicola Sturgeon.

2023

Taking place 16 – 19 February and responding to the theme of ‘Remake and Rebel’ the 2023 featured events with the Hebridean Baker, Darren McGarvey, Jackie Kay and Michael Pederson, Denise Mina and Tariq Ashkanani among others.

2024

The 2024 Paisley Book Festival, themed ‘Imagine Something Different’, took place for the first time in the newly refurbished Paisley Town Hall, establishing the venue as its permanent home. Highlights of this festival included Andrew MacMillan, Pat Nevin, Judy Murray, Graeme Armstrong, Alan Bissett, Len Pennie and Andrew O’Hagan.
