• Sunday 28th April at 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
  • Meeting Point: Main Entrance to Paisley Town Hall
  • Tickets – Pay What You Can, £3 / £5 / £8 / £10

This two-hour workshop will offer an opportunity to remake understandings of local environments through small but radical acts of noticing and writing while on a short, accessible, guided walk in Paisley. Participants will gather at one of the festival hubs in Paisley, and will be provided with materials: post-it notes, a pencil, and a map. We will then walk as a group on an accessible route, pausing in specific places where participants will be offered prompts to create post-it note poems, to share their work, and join in discussions of wellbeing related to walking and writing. The walk will conclude at the Paisley Town Hall, where participants will be invited to continue the conversation and bring together their creative ideas in one of our workshop spaces.

All participants will be encouraged to continue to experiment with walking and writing by receiving a copy of a walking, writing, and noticing zine, ‘Notes to Self’.

Part of our Oot and Aboot series, which explores the human drive to get out into nature and the transformational impact it has on us.
