We’re delighted to welcome Scottish tennis coach, campaigner, OBE, and mother of tennis superstars Andy and Jamie Murray to Paisley to chat about her first foray into fiction writing. The Wild Card is a novel immersed in the sporting world that Judy knows and loves, featuring a 38-year-old tennis player who returns to the professional sport after having a baby, and ends up getting more than she bargained for. It’s a tale that captures the ups and downs of professional sporting life, celebrating triumph over adversity, and reminding us it’s never too late to realise your dreams.

Hear Judy read from the book in this special event, and discuss the real life events of her career that inspired it in conversation with BBC sports journalist and fellow writer Andrew Cotter.
