We’re delighted to welcome I Am Loud to the festival! Come along to watch as poets come to the stage to compete in the Loud Poets West Regional Slam Heat. The night will be hosted by Kevin Mclean, as 9-12 poets will compete for the title of West Regional Slam Champion and a prize of £200. We’re also excited to bring Gray Crosbie to be a sacrificial poet and judge at this event.
I am Loud (AKA Loud Poets) are a well-kenned name in Scotland’s poetry scene over the last decade, from their award-winning slam series to hosting regular poetry nights in Edinburgh. All with a goal of bringing spoken word poetry to the masses! They have performed at countless venues and events across the UK and around the world, including Edinburgh, Brighton and Prague Fringe festivals, Edinburgh’s Hidden Door Festival and London’s VAULT Festival.
