Join Paisley Museum for a two-hour creative writing workshop and let your writing be inspired by stories about some of the museum’s tiniest objects – from the world’s smallest published book, to miniature Coats cotton reels, and myriad teensy weensy microscopic miracles. Andrea Pearson and Camilla Crosta return to the festival with a workshop focused on small objects and details from the museum’s collection. The workshop will include a look at some of the museum’s specialist macro images, followed by activities and exercises to stimulate writing. No previous writing experience needed.

Paisley Museum Co-production Officer Camilla Crosta has a background in the Scottish arts sector. Her practice is particularly focused on working with public spaces and communities. Text Editor Andrea Pearson worked as a journalist at The Herald newspaper for 20 years before swapping news for interpretive content in the museum.
