Join poet Nazaret Ranea for a workshop designed to explore themes of home and identity, inspired by the rich stories and heritage of Paisley. This relaxed session combines writing exercises with two collage poetry activities that will help you reflect on your connection to Paisley in a unique and creative way. Using a variety of materials—old magazines, photographs, and local publications—you’ll cut, layer, and arrange words and images to craft your own poems. Along the way, there’ll be time to write, experiment, and share ideas in a friendly environment.
No experience is necessary—this workshop is open to everyone, and all materials will be provided. At the end of the session, participants will come together to share the results, offering a chance to celebrate the diversity of voices and perspectives within the group.
