Barbara Henderson is the award-winning author of twelve books, including her latest children’s eco adventure I Don’t Do Mountains. Her historical fiction is widely studied in Scottish schools and has won several prizes, including two Young Quills Awards from the Historical Association. Barbara is lucky enough to be based in Inverness, with some of Scotland’s most dramatic landscape on her doorstep. She splits her time between writing and teaching Drama – but spreading the story-love in schools is what she loves best!
